Section 307 of the U.S. Tariff Act prohibits imports made using forced labor from entering U.S. commerce. The reach of this section is unlike any other - any individual or organization may submit information to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regarding violations of section 307. Recent enforcement actions by CBP signal an increasing appetite to tackle forced labor in supply chains linked to U.S imports. This webinar will provide advocates with an overview of how to engage with this process, analyze past cases by groups that filed petitions, and discuss how to integrate this tool into a strategic campaign and weaknesses.
